What afpr to use for 2200?
Monday, May 07, 2007 10:54 PM
Through all the searching I've done, I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I've read that one for a corvette is a direct fit where in other posts people are saying to use one for the camaro/firebird. However, it seems these are not a direct fit and require some modification. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? One more question, is anyone tapping into their fuel rail for the fuel pressure guage? Seems like everyone is saying it's too small to tap into.

I just ordered the Cartech/BEGI AFPR (2025)... It requires some modification, but from what I heard its the best to use and most common. Maybe its not, but its also adjustable and I like that option.

However ^ That fpr looks like a bolt on and go to me.

Good luck!

The Cartech (FMU/RRFPR) is different than the afpr he is talking about. They control two totally different things.

Have you had any problems with the Accel one? I've read it's a direct fit but some people have said they ran into problems with it.

it all depends on what you want , and what your budget is , i used a cheapo afpr from ebay. I took the old bracket off the fuel rail were there stock one went on and drilled it out to a bigger hole. and used a 4an fitting , tapped that in and sodered it in. it works prefect. then ran the line to the remotely located afpr
