Recently picked up an 03 ecu. I am going to be supercharging the car and until I can buy a wideband for hpt I am going to takethe 03 ecu to gm to get reflashed so i can drive the car for two weeks or so and then once i get the wideband tune my 02 ecu with hpt. My question is how do you tell the difference between the auto and manual ecu. and before anyone says "just get the 02 ecu reflashed" Im not going to do that because the 02s didnt have the 14.7 afr issue that the newer ecos seem to have.
I'm pretty sure that HPTuners can disable that annoying 14.7 feature on 03+ ecm's.
yes it can, you just need to change the Power enrichment to lower than 5500 rpms (or what ever high rpm it is at)..
