Looking at either buying a kit or piecing one together. Tell me what you guys think is the best bang for the buck? I have been currently looking at a hahn turbo kit stage 2 for close to 3500...but thats a little high for how little it will give me. I also will be planning on building up the 2.2L (Non ecotec).

Did you not see that i said I plan on building the 2.2L and turboing it?

hes saying dont waste your time with a 2200.
Basically what I've read & heard is the 2200 ohv can only handle about a 70-75 on stock internals.
So Hahn's stage 2 turbo will basically cause you have to rebuild your motor.
On the other hand - a Swap to a 2.2L Ecotec - will give you a better motor to boost. The Ecotec is basically proven - handle over 350hp on stock internals.
1st the swap - then the boost.
I want to be a lil different though. I plan on building up the 2.2 also as stated above.

As much as I am a fan of the Hahn stuff I think you would be better off just fabricating your own kit and just running a good size turbo with a lot of boost.

Or just get the Hahn kit and run more boost.
