Hey just wanted to how many people with Auto ecotecs have a turbo set up. Alot of people say that turbos are better for manuals but some say that autos can hold em too....who makes a turbo for the auto tranny and whats the power max?

any info is helpful...

An automatic is a better turbo transmission, with a shift kit the auto can shift faster then any human possibly can and an automatic don't lose boost between shifts. I am building a turbo engine right now although it is a 2200 and I am using a auto by choice. The only true advantage a manual has is launch. Although there are ways to launch an auto just as hard.

i have a turbo setup on my auto ecotec and at 7psi it pulls very strong, had it dynoed at 240whp and 260 lb ft torque at 7 psi. i love my auto. nobody makes a turbo kit for the auto tranny, you will have to piece one together. if you have any other questions just let me know
