Ok so here's what I got, exactly:
http://coolingmist.com/detailmain.aspx?pid=controllerkit2
my settings are the red dial is on 2, the green dial is on 30, and the tune is set to 10
and this injector mounted to the intake piping, on the second bend (i have a wai setup, so imagine the two bends that go around the battery to get to the TB)
i'm running teh 2.6" pulley which is peak powering @ 9.5psi. What I would like to know is if those settings seem ok, or if I should bump up the minimum point at which the pump starts spraying. I can say that the pump & tank are mounted in the trunk, so there is obviously some delay factor there. I do notice sometimes that if i'm not WOT but got the pedal down that it does jump / spudder / hesitate. I don't know how exactly to tune this, and i'm guessin that the guy who installed it isn't too sure for my car as he was using it to run his evo that was puttin down over 500 whp. The car is HPT tuned w/ this setup, so will changing anything have any negative side effects? Let me know what you guys think / if there's anything else I can provide you with

shouldnt green be 2 and red be 30?
you want to start spraying at 30psi and then be at full flow at 2psi??? lol
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Yeah no I got that backwards... I can't seem to figure out how to edit my post, but yea
Green = 2, red = 30

Guess I can't edit posts... cause it should also say "Come on IN", not "come on it" lol

nice, i have mine mounted in the trunk with only a "on" presher switch, it kicks on at about 2.5 psi, works great. temps drop fast and KR is kept at bay, what did this cost you?
i like it.

I got it used from the guy who installed it for $350, but he paid the $499 tag that it's marked as. I called the guy who did the tuning, and he said that I can mess with these knobs and it won't affect too much, so I should be able to play with these for some better results... not on the power end, but I do notice that it lags for just a CH of a second and that's what's gettin me

i didnt have a fancy controler on mine , i just used a pressure switch , that was set in the 1 psi range for track use
my iat's would stay under 100 degrees for the whole 1/4 run and burn out
i used a 60psi pump and m2 nozzle
i use a m4 with a 100 psi pump.....

You really should tune it with a wideband O2 to get the best results for your setup. What you wanna do is start at 12.5:1+/- without the methonol injection and then inject the methanol which will richin you up considerably as the water/meth is used as an alternative supplemental fuel. From there you should tweak it to around 11.5:1.............. I myself dont have it begin injection till 5 psi (boost) and then progressively increases duty cycle till 10 psi (boost) from there it plateaus at MAX pump psi (which in my case is 150psi) till I hit my max boost psi of around 15 psi. Your cooling mist variable controller should work in the same manner as mine (snow performance). If its stuttering you are injecting TOO much water/meth and need to pull it back some. This is done by setting your full psi knob to a higher psi setting. However you said you have it set to 30 if i understood you correctly which means u should never be reaching even close to max pump psi. What needs to be done in this case is a smaller nozzle needs to be used or the pump itself needs to be adjusted. I dont know if the pumps "coolingmist" use are adjustable but i assume that they are. You should check the nozzle while injection is occurring to be sure it is a nice even atomized misting as well. Generally speaking though your symptoms are pretty common to OVER injection of water/meth. I would also turn up the beginning psi "start" to around 5 psi (boost). Like I said Im not totally familiar of the gain option on your controller but that should be an adjustment for pump duty cycle so thats a cool option if thats true. You can further tweak your tune with it. Anyway I see you are running HPT so whatever you do dont start messing with your timing till you get your injection situation corrected but once your running smooth advance that timing.................... WOOT WOOT!!! Good Luck

Yeah I don't have my dyno sheet posted, but my a/f is consistently 11.8ish all the way across. I also found out last night that I have a rather conservative tune done, which is why i'm only puttin down 183. The guy who did the tuning figured I shouldn't have it set to balls to the wall as this is primarily a show car, then a street car, then a track car so he wanted me to be able to get around this summer without blowin up the motor. Now that I know this, i'm not as puzzled as to my problems, but he did say just about the same thing you did in regards to turning the starting point up on the controller. I'm not sure if the pump is adjustable, and I may have gotten too big of an injector (I don't happen to remember the flow rate on it). I'm gonna play with it tonight and see if I can't make the studder at least stop. I do have an innovative wide band, I just have not installed it yet, so I have to do that and get the clutch in, then it'll be back to the dyno for a retune. What do you guys think the average 2.4 w/ 95,xxx miles should be able to put down safely? I'm seein that most of the s/c guys are puttin down between 201-218 and some of them have more mileage than me so i'm thinkin I should be safe so long as I don't beat on it at every light

Very interested as I plan on using this on my turbo setup as well, I already have the Snow setup on my other car 87 Monte Carlo SS 383 procharged.
