As the title states what brand and size front mount intercooler are you guys using? I am thinking about getting a Vibrant 12810 which is 30" x 9" x 3.25". Also which are better cast end tanks or sheet metal the intercooler core is bar & plate type.

Thanks to all of you who shared your setups, looks like I'll be ok height wise with a 9" , I was worried it might hang too low but I feel better now.

9" tall you'll need to cut the bumper.

Ok cool I'll cut & reinforce the bumper support to clear the IC that way it won't hang down where " traffic calming pitchers mounds" could damage it. Thanks for the detailed pics John317.

have fun if your ever in a front crash of any kind... i didnt do any cutting to my frunt bumper and when i was hit head on by a civic that bar got absolutly CRUSHED!! i dont even want to know what it would have been like if i cut it out... highly suggest doing somthing like this like they do to the SRT-4's.. you could even fit your intercooler up higher if you did this and have it even stronger then stock

Thanks for that pic JoshF I'll see if the shop doing my work can fab me up something like that reasonably and if not I'll atke some 1"x2" bar stock and reinforce the stock one after I have it cut in order to maintain the strength.
