Hey guys, I finally got these in (was waiting for my new clips to show up!). Anyways, I put them into the engine first, then put the fuel rail back on, and I'm noticing that when the bolts are put back into the fuel rail, the injectors can slide up and down about 1/8-3/16". Is this a reason for concern? I noticed they don't have the nice sleeve the stock ones do to make them really snug, only the top o-ring.
Any suggestions or should I be okay?

leave the spacers in the head
Sorry??? What spacers are you talking about? I'm not at home right now, but if there is something on the stock injectors I have to take off then that might make sense...

ok then the spacers must still be in the head , which is good
the injectors lock into the rail with the clips , so with out the clips they will move around , also the lower o-rings should fit snug in the spacers , if not then you need a larger diameter o-ring
Okay well I didn't have the clips in before (because I couldnt get them on haha), now I do and the injectors are pretty solid. I was just a bit concerned because they COULD pop out while the rail was on, which led me to believe that there was room to play around in the head... Now that the clips are in, there is only a rotational movement, no wiggles or sliding at all. Thanks for your help man

yeah the clips are leak savers
Those sleeves from the stock injectors are the bungs/spacers for the head I think.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

No the sleeves I was talking about are on the fuel rail side of the stock injector, made of rubber... nothing else came out of the head.
