i have been searching for a bit now and frankly im getting very @!#$in bored trying to find some answers to my question but here it goes, i am in the process of boosting my cavy this month and was wondering how much boost can i run through my intake (being its plastic) before it explodes???? i have seen alot of people run about ten pounds but is there any modifying i would have to do to keep it from coming apart??? thanks for any answers!!!

mildly built 99' ln2, eagle h-beam rods, wiseco forged alum. pistons, cusco oil catch, t3/t4 super 60 garret, tial 40 mm wastegate, hp tuners, prothane mount inserts, 2.5" exhaust.

10psi from a t25 is differant that 10psi from a t3.

Those plastic intakes will hold more boost than your engine can handle, even built.

Yup Yup, what he said. The GM gods rate our lil plastic intake to 500hp.

Just dont run a 100hp wet shot through them, fuel puddles, boom, you need a new intake.

I've gone as high as 17PSI on my S16G. That didn't hurt it, even after 200+ runs.
