I've done it to my 2000 Z. Kenton Hurst (the owner of that 2nd gen) had some influence behind my system.

Is it better than having the turbo on the motor? meaning better response time and very little lag?
apprently lag is not a concearn. Ive read multiple places that regadless of location once boost hits, it charges the pipes just as fast. its more about turbo size then anything.

yea rear mounts use giant turbos....my buddys camaro uses a t78 turbo.....no lag whatsoever
