here's some updates as to what's going on.
motor is in sittin in one piece, kinda.
Oh? what's going on here?
this does not compute.
front tranny mount insert for a jbody, works on a 99+nbody.
HELLA modified a TTR mount to work on a 99+nbody.

HO cover looks nice on there , you musta bought it from some poor soul in az , LOL
intake is looking pretty sweet , dont forget there is a PCV hole in the intake flange , look for some pics of the GM s/c for the 2.4 and youll see the port and the location
its directly under the center bolt hole for the intake , on the head
lookin good. Make sure to post pics of that manifold when its done.
looking good man still waiting on the volicity stacks?
R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten

What is that hole for? It's always, of the entire history I've had an intake manifold other than stock, been open into the atmosphere.

its the vacuum port for the PCV , positive crank case ventilation
the spot where the plastic box with 2 hoses is on the block under the intake
not once was there ever anything connecting to that lil tiny hole in the head. not even on the oem manifold was it of any use. it was actually blocked off by the gasket, like surrounded.

actually on the stock intake the gacket has a hole and a channel that routes to each of the 4 intake ports , you have to look to see it
the 2.3 HO intake will slightly cover the hole
funny... nothing negative has ever happened to my car that i can recall because of it. 48000 on the car and probably only 15000 or so was with the stock intake manifold.

sometimes ya get lucky , lol
i had forgot you had a HO intake on it , but if it aint broke dont fix it
but if you guys make more of them intakes might want to consider putting the port in the flange
Looks good

Stop it! Your car is fast enough! haha j/k
I dont think there will ever be a 3400 n-body faster than you lol. I love my 2.4 j, but I miss my 3400 n-body
yeah so that intake is making me wet in my pants
its looking good man, just curious to what all you have done to your engine? just doesnt look like you have much done to it from the outside i mean i know that may sound dumb because it doesnt mean there is nothting done to it but it looks like its covered in grease and original and i know you are supposedly a guy on here claiming to be pushing some high boost and major power. thank god i see t-bolt clamps on the couplers instead of regular hose clamps haha, not sure if you have any intentions on making more than just one of these intakes for yourself but if you are pm me and let me know. good luck with the fabbing bud your welds are looking extremely good so far so keep it up and once again good luck.

claims? we dont' do stinkin claims. we have dyno sheets, drag videos, written affidavits, shop support, first hand witness support, etc.
The motor definitely is not one of those motors you take to the car show to win things. As some people have said I have one of the mildest builds to date, it's just that they all seem to really really really like each other and cooperate very well together.
I'll clean up the entire wiring mess after I know the car runs with this new mumbo jumbo in there. That's the last thing I need right now a stupid electrical error messing up the whole darn thing and ruining my day.
The welds are definitely sealing the mofo up like a good boy and doing their job, thank god it wasn't me welding.
T-bolt clamps ftw. I try to use good stuff whenever necessary.
I should have a few updated photos sometime today or tomorrow on the progress of the manifold.

wheres my boost??
thanks for mocking my intake up for me! when do you think it will be on its way out to me?
that "PVC" hole is nothing to worry about, it just allows a small amount of vacuum to be applied to the air/oil separator on the block. Its probably not a good thing to have hooked up when your boosted...... nothing like pressurizing the air/oil separator (and in turn, the BLOCK)

no kidding. I hate it when people tell me what to do.
your intake will be ready as soon as I get the $600 deposit and mock up fee.
