Ordering S/C parts
Sunday, July 08, 2007 1:07 AM
I need a few parts for my S/C kit from GMPP, a few hoses, a TB adaptor plate, and a brake booster, i called a few dealerships, and i have part #s from the install guide, however, when i put the #s into a website they come up as invalid, the only part # i was able to pick up was the whole S/C kit, as per usual, i did a freakin search, but as i stated before i'm not a fan of how it works, and i didn't see a single post. so forgive me for possibly making "another one of those threads" but i just was curious where i can get specific parts from.

thanks in advance.

TB adaptor plate you are going to have to build your own

The hoses you need to goto the dealer and ask for cobalts parts, but you can fab up some if you really need them.

Why buying the kit gives less headaches.

Wait, then why does all of the parts in the kit have individual part #'s? what if you have to replace a hose? or a belt?

That's a great point...but GM has yet to address it!

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

the t/b adapter you will never find...

most of the other parts just use cobalt parts and make them work...

just a tip, the cobalt belt costs waaaaaay less, just cut off a rib
