I plan on building a turbo 2.4. I just have a simple question really.
Im using the 95 Intake cam (200 degrees @ .050" with .360" lift )
Im just not sure whether to use the LD2 exhaust cam (200 degrees @ .050" with .375" )
or use the HO exhaust cam (212 degrees @ .050" with .410" )
Ive read all the neccesary things to do in order to use the cams.
I also understand how they work on N/A, HP & TQ gains.
What im wondering is what effect the two different exhaust cams will have on a Boosted engine (turbo)?
Thanks in advance
I'm not sure but on my turbo motor I'm using the W41 cams 219* dur @ .050 .410 lift, I don't know how it runs yet because the engine is still at the machine shop but from working on sbc turbo engines seem to prefer symetrical cams that have the same duration but not alot of overlap which can be somewhat tuned out with adjustable cam gears.
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.
