Just wondering how this would be done. I have a general idea about the software, but I'd like to see some pictures or an explanation about connecting a fifth injector to the fuel line. Pictures on an Eco would be ideal, but anything would be appreciated.
Why do you even want to do that it is a band aid fix.
FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
its cheap and it works. and if you can find a way to keep it from puddling, its a great meathod to keeping your stock ecu from getting pissed off. you just got to keap the car from pulling timing.

Why not just step up the size a little on all the injectors. FYI I run 15psi on 48lb/hr injectors, my ecu isn't complaining about that, oh yeah did I forget to mention, no HPT everything done through a FMU and MSD.

^ Just exploring other options.
With one single large injector, you'll need to get an injector boss and have it welded into the intake pipe right before the throttle body. Then you'll need to either tap the fuel rail or run a T fitting off the fuel feed line and run the extra line to the top of the injector boss.
I have sort of the same setup, except mine uses 4 extra injectors instead of 1. I have injetor bosses welded directly to each runner of the intake manifold so they spray towards the port. Right now I have a T fitting in the fuel feed line that leads into a fuel block and 4 seperate lines leading to each injector. For my Eco buld I'll be using the same type of setup (4 injectors in the runners) but I'll be running a second fuel rail that the injetors will be attached to, sort of like the Hahn PortFueler.
Here's a pic of my current setup.

^ That's awesome. Are you still on your stock fuel pump, or a hi-flow one?
Would it be better to use larger than stock injectors, to minimize strain on the fuel pump?
What is a good size for the injector runners? Were those fabricated, or is there a generic kit somewhere?
Yep, stock fuel pump. The injectors I'm using are 370cc's. If you were to use a single or dual injector setup before the throttle body, you'd be better off using larger injectors than that. Good size for injector runners? Maybe you mean the injector bosses/holders welded to the runners? I got them from Simple Digital Systems (SDS). I also use their Extra Injector Controller which works extremely well and I've been very happy with it...here's a link

http://www.sdsefi.com/eic.html. I'm sure you can have the injector bosses fabricated but I wanted to get bosses that I could thread fuel fittings into and that I could just weld to the manifold.

That it awesome. Thanks!
Is their software any good, or would Megasquirt be a better option do you think?
I don't know of anyone that's used their software at all, other than the people on their site. But from reading through their info a little and just the fact that they try to make everything as easy as possible to use, it might be worth a try. The injector controller I'm using works awesome and is so easy to install and operate. All it takes is splicing in a few wires, pluging in the injectors, mounting the control box and turning the knobs to tune the fuel...very very easy. If I were ever in the market for a standalone, the SDS system is probably one that I would consider.
