Just a question for you GM S/C kit owners.
After hammering on the s/c in the car for a bit and then parking. Temperature of the car is at normal half temp. When you go to start the car it doesnt start as easy as it does when cold? Like in the morning leaving for work.
In the morning you just turn the key and it starts right up no hesitation. You barely have to turn the key, I mean barely.
But when it's hot. Its a little harder to start. You have the hold the key to the on position for about 2-3 seconds for it to start.
(Example: Morning is like less then one second then VROOM. And when the S/C is hot say after driving and pounding on it for a while it's like ERRR, ERRR, ERRR, VROOM. Its not a ERRR sound but I hope you get what I mean. It has to turn the motor over a little more to start the car then when cold.)
With the S/C being so hot does it not flow air properly on hot startup? Is it making the starter/Altenator to hot to start the car properly and make them function like they should?
The car starts/runs just fine but seems to be a little tougher to start when hot. Its not a concern but I just thought I would ask if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
mine does the same thing, not sure why.
depending on how many times it cranks before it starts, my security light comes on
mine does that every now and then, only if i've really been beating on it
HOT SUPERCHARGER= LESS EFFICIENT.
normal.

Thanks for the input at least I'm not the only one experiencing this. It doesnt bother me but just something I noticed.
hot s/c less efficient + more drag on motor and starter to turn
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE, i have already died once and im still here so lets just leave it on the track
It's fine. Mine did the same thing.
