Also, Is the BOV located on the turbo ok to use over the stock psi? or will I need a block off plate for it and use an aftermarket one?

Making ur own coolin system is ur call. Chad is using the existant engine cooling system.

what do u consider "stock psi" for the saab setup?

Oh honestly Im not sure what the psi is for it. Im just wondering if the bov or what ever the hell it is on the turbo needs to be upgraded if i run around 10 psi. If it does not that all the better

10 psi is fine. A little more is okay too. Snowman has proven that. I had mine upwards of 25 psi and it held up. lol I was driving around at 7 psi.

I'm interested in doing this to my setup too!

I 'm just not sure where to tap into the existing coolant system for the feed and return lines.

the thermostat housing is where the coolant lines come from to go to the turbo. im not sure if you can use the saab housing but thats where the coolant lines came from.

you could proally run it like the m62 kit.

Yea I think im gonna make something like the M62 manifold. But i dont want to add alot of lines under the hood so we will see.

Where exactly is the thermostat housing?

what?

just run a tee for the coolant feed from the heater core feed, and run the return into a tee in the heater core return.

You're going to rig up a heat exchanger to your turbo?

^ i have planned on doing that for a long time....i just don't know if it will benefit me much .

That's a great idea!

I would bet you'd keep the turbo cooler, but the intake air would be a little hotter.

You have less than 200 degree water cooling something attached to a housing with 1400+ degrees exhaust flowing through it. Using the heater core lines will be fine.
