Turbo Intake manifold

Long story short, i am trying to make an intake manifold for my engine build up that will perform at the highest level. I want to know what people think should be used as far as the manifold it self. Eatehr the GM H.O. intake or a custom intake some what baced off the Saab Turbo edition.

The other question is, on the plenum, does any one know the size it should be to help aid the forced induction?

some say to use the same size plenum as the engines displacement. I want to hear others opinions!

Intake manifold for a turbo engine with maximum power in mind: Log style with large throttlebody, large plenum and short runners. As for the actual size of the plenum, just use the biggest size that fits...maybe 4.5 - 5" diameter.

Forgot to mention, velocity stacks inside the plenum leading into each runner.

velocity stacks don't really improve much on boosted application. The plenum is pressurized. If you do stacks, you would do best to have them sit flush with the plenum

The plenum I'm using is 5inches in diameter and slightly longer in length to the 2.3HO manifold.

-Trailblazer SS - not so custom 6.0L - custom intake - custom tune
- (1) 2.4L on an engine stand (1) blown trans (2) good quad trans (1) eco trans = party
