Homemade c02 intercooler sprayer

I've been reading up on these Co2 IC sprayer kits for a couple days now. So I decided to throw one together yesterday. Seeing how these kits go for like $300+ I think mine works great. I probably only spent like $30!

Next time I'm at the track I will see if it actually helps. I tested it earlier today and it damn near froze the whole IC!!!

Materials used:
Paintball tank (free) I have a couple.
Fitting for the co2 tank (can be picked up at a paintball shop or welding supply Co.)
1/4" X 1/8" elbow fitting. part # a-29 (lowes or home depot)
Ice maker connection line, 2500psi burst strength (Lowes is cheaper) I used a 10' section. 5', 10', or 20'
1/4" compression fitting (Lowes ) I used a 3 way fitting so I could make an oval
flexible 1/4 copper tubing (Lowes) I think I used a 5' section.
Oh yeah, and some teflon tap or sealant for the connections.

The most expensive part was the $12 Braided stainless steel line. I am going to pick up a nitrous solenoid off ebay cheap and hook it up to a switch...maybe a WOT switch. hmmm, we'll see.

Actually, I forgot I bought a 5lbs C02 tank today so when I go to the track I'll have enough to mess around with. $65... I figured it was worth it! It only cost $5.50 to fill up the 5 POUND tank and it cost $3 to fill up my 14 ounce tank. How does that make sense!? It's about 3 times cheaper to fill up the big tank. I won't let it sit in my car when filled though. Could be dangerous.

It was either this or a water sprayer.

I need batteries for my digital camera right now. But I'll snap some pics of it installed for you since you don't believe me...

Whatever. people like you piss me off. I guess I'm not turbocharged either since I don't have any pics...

I know pics would be nice, but they're a pain in the ass and besides, you don't have to be such a douchebag about it. But I guess I should expect that from someone named "philly D" lol

geez...

so, how much do you think that solinoid will cost you?
also, i imagine you will have to put some kind of restrictor in the line to make it last longer, rather than dumping all at once, what do you think?
i wonder if it will cause you to go lean, or if the ECU will be able to adjust enough for it?

and do you have means to monitor your AIT's while going down the strip?

I found one for $20 used. But there are some for $40

I might install a regulator, but I have to make sure the reg doesn't stop the liquid Co2 from doing its job. it would be salvaged from a paintball gun. Unregulated the Co2 would be coming out at about 800psi. With the paintball reg I could change it anywhere from 100-300psi. maybe even lower.

The ECU should be fine. because with the reflash it runs a little on the rich side. so this might be perfect for bringing my A/F ratio right where I want it. I'll keep an eye on the Wideband tho, just in case.

Nope. no way to tell the actual Temp , but I'm sure it makes a difference. I checked online for an AIT gauge, but the ones I looked at were far too expensive.

So what size holes did you drill in the copper line?
