I keep getting a p1133 code which is for the first o2 sensor not having enough cross counts. I get this code whether I use a normal one wire sensor, or my heated wideband sensor that has a narowband output. My setup has secondary fuel injectors so I didn't touch any of the stock tuning. I am running copper plugs that are one step colder than stock. I am also using the manual simulator for the secondary o2 sensor because I took out the converter. The code only sets if your cruising for 5 min and according to general motors service information its looking at just the front o2 sensor and not the second sensor.
I have no exhaust leaks, and I've data logged with the wideband and I have a narrow band gauge on my a-pillar. Both give me results that are normal. Meaning that during a cruise the narrowband will go from rich to lean. The o2 sensor is new, and I get this code with both narrowband and wideband being used.
Does anyone have any input as to why I'm getting this code??
Did you modify the wires lenght to the o2 sensor??
When I did the s/c reflash, the GM technicien asked me if I messed with the o2 sensor wires and told me that those wire had to stay the same lenght so it don't change the voltage value....
All the wiring to the o2 sensor is still stock. Any other ideas??
Still having problems with this code. Anyone have any ideas?? Should I try a set of regular spark plugs??
I got it figured out. Turns out I had a bolt hole in my wastegate that I needed to put a bolt in. That accounted for about an 8 mm hole for a nice exhaust leak. I also have my o2 sensor six inches from the wastegate so I need a heated sensor. I got my monitors to set for o2 and catalyst so I should be good to go. The only monitor I haven't set yet is heated o2 circuit which has never been a problem..................on to tuning!!!!
