GMPP S/C + N2O?
Wednesday, September 05, 2007 3:01 PM
I did a search and didn't really find anything substantial. I know the stock eco can handle a 75 shot, but do know whether it would hold up to the GMPP s/c kit (tuned by HPTuners) and a 35 shot. What about a 50 shot?

I believe it would hold the s/c with a 35 WET shot....make sure its a wet though...dont know about anymore....by the way is this a built engine? or stock?

make sure its DRY.. you don't want to be spraying fuel through the rotors of the supercharger.. 35 dry would be alright

bc, who doesnt like it wet? lol....

this is referring to a stock engine too. i am going to be leaving for the Air Force in January and i plan to get a spare eco and build over time, but for now i would like to reliably make about 250 whp on the stock pulley.

so, the 35 shot is ok, but a 50 is too much?

according to the ECO build book, the rods are designed for up to 250hp, and the pistons are designed for up to 300hp, I believe this is crank hp they are going by, so your setup would be iffy, you could do it and it hold up for a long time, but it could also blow shortly after....

If I may suggest something to increase hp but be safer for your engine, run a Meth/Alcohol injection kit, as it is safer, cheaper, and still increases hp....
