Where did everyone get there map sensors at my car runs like @!#$ because of it i need one asap

umm..our cars cant read map sensors that go above 1 bar....youll have to look into a fmu, afpr or maybe hpt...phil

yea im not using one... i have HPT and the only thing using a map sensor is my boost controller, but it came with it it needs it.

well my car when it hits boost it just pretty much dies unless i unplug my sensor

what sensor is it? also what are you using to tune your car and adjust your fuel/ etc..?

im using a obx 8:1 fmu and a afpr i unplug my throdle position sensor 2 make it work right but its still @!#$ up at high rpms

yea i was kinda thinking the same thing. with the way the jbo ecu works, it uses TPS vs RPM with using alphaN. i certainly wouldnt unplug the TPS.

im not wasting $550 to get my car tuned @!#$ that i need to find someone to tune it for me anyone tune ecus for the 2200 with hpt if i send it to them

also it says you have a 2bar map in your profile i thought it didnt work for the 2200 jazer

like i said above - my boost controller uses one, it came with it. yes its a gm 2-bar. but it has nothing to do with my ecu. it connects to the boost controller as i have an electronic one.

tuning isnt cheap... dont expect to get your @!#$ tuned without spending that kind of money, unless you find someone local that has it, then maybe they would spend a credit on you.. haha..

just spend the money to get that, because you never know when you want to modify your tune, change boost, get bigger injectors, etc..

and you dont have to spend 649.. you can spend 499 and get the basic one.. just use a laptop, and you do not need the datalogging box..

Hahha, Then have fun spending well over $550 bucks to replace all the junk you destroy. If you cant afford to boost you SHOULD be able to afford a tune.

thats y i sold my @!#$ get everything better now in the process of a 300+ hp build so im deff goin 2 be doing tuning this time around
