Hi i'm in need of some help today i got my downpipe done cars is running great but i heard a sound like i had an exhaust leak. So i started looking around put my hand at the wastegate opening since its an open dump and i can feel exhaust coming out . I took it around the block and no boost of course. Does anybody know why or any ideas would be appreciated. Oh by the way this is a Real tial 38mm gate.
Where do you have your vacuum line hooked up to it? The top or the side? Have you taken it apart at all? Do you have your spring in?

Oh, also you may want to check if your valve seat is still in there.

Yeah make sure you have the valve seat in there.

No.
You only use that port if you're using an electronic boost controller. It helps control the valve a little better.
