Hey, i've got an 03 cavalier with a 2.2 ecotec into it. i've been reading for a while now about turbos and superchargers, i was cruising around on crate engine depot's site and came accross the stage 1-3 upgrades for the cobalt SS. i read the boost FAQ at the top of the page and it says the supercharger in the GMPP kit is the same as the ones off the cobalt SS. If that's true would you be able to buy one of those kits and then just buy a new belt for your accessories? Then at the bottom of the page i seen the stage 3 kits and they come with a new PCM http://www.crateenginedepot.com/store/Cobalt-Stage-3-2005-Performance-Upgrade-Kit-88958718-P1724C41.aspx i know the cobalts and cavaliers are different, but would there be any chance of one of these working?

you can buy them but are asking for trouble cause the pcm in a cobalt is different..

and there isnt a way to hack the supercharger eco pcm

would b easier 2 just get a different pulley and tune it rather than buy a kit that wont work with ur ecu. plus that size pulley is prolly 2 close 2 use without a built bottom end.

snowman, you mean just tune with HPT instead of getting the reflash?

you could do that, but it would be cheaper to get a pulley froma local vendor then from gm.

i got my pulley setup for 80 bucks and an additional 55 if i ever wanna change sizes.

you can get the dual bypass endplate, it swaps right in. i know (well admiral jedi knows.)


my setup is the supercharger package, with the dual bypass intercooler and cooling option b
and i have a 3.0 pulley i just installed, and im seeing 12-14psi and good afrs with just the reflash.

i dont know my iats cause jedi wont sell me his scan guage

What injectors you running?

Whats are AFR at WOT?

That actually answers my question....I was wondering if me running a 3.0 pulley and being intercooled with the reflash would be ok.......thanks JBO

im running the saab green top injectors and see 10.5-11 @ wide open throttle. no problems
