I'm about to buy a supercharger for my 04 eco from crate engine depot. I know that it dosen't come with the intercooler/heat exchanger. I plan on getting one in the following months. I plan on running stock boost till i get the heat exchanger. Question is is it all alright to run the charger for a while/year maybe, tilL i get the heat exchanger setup?

yes
searching would have told ya that , as well as give you ideas what needs to be done to make the intercooler function
GM wouldnt sell the kit if they didnt feel it was ok
over winter would be the best time to do it, i wouldnt want to run without it above 70 degrees

over 110 here , and no issues , other than the lack of power over when its 70 outside
I installed mine in march of 07 with no cooling. Nebraska got hot this year, 90-110...... car would start to overheat, but would cool off quick with the fans kicking on. Im just getting ready to install mine this weekend. So 8 months or so of a beating.......still runs great minus the heat soak.

florida FTW but good luck with the S/c but maybe do a radiator fan upgrade to help with cooling ????
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
the intake has the cores in it for the intercooler set up
but the kit comes with nothing else to make the intercooler work
Its fine to run it without, but you really wont be seeing the full effect of the supercharger, i lasted one month without the cobra heat exchanger, but after that month I had to have it. Its so much nicer when you have it.
looking for the part# I will need to hook up a heat exchanger to a GM ECO S/C. I've seen it before, now I need to find it.
