i am running 8 psi of boost and my car is overheating. do you think it will fix this if i get a radiator with more volume? or should i just install and aftermarket fan?

Yeah I would check into this stuff, thermostat, possibly water pump. Shouldn't need a bigger radiator.

If that is the case it may point more towards the fan. Make sure they are coming on when it is overheating. If not check to make sure there is power where they connect to the harness. Should find 12 volts there.

i had this same problem.. it turned out to be a bad t-stat, Im pretty sure that the fans dont come on until the temp is almost in the red part of the temp guage. but to see if your fans are working, turn on the AC, i belive the fans are active when the AC is on.

Don't forget that our cars come with a crappy single-core radiator. Fine for a stock motor, but insufficient for boosted applications. With no air moving to it (ie when you're not rolling) you will overheat. I would recommend using at least one of these fans on a switch. I run the 14" version right now. They're pricey, but move mad amounts of air and can be set up as a pusher or puller, like most fans. Easy mounting and you can either use (2) 12" fans or (1) 14". I ran the metal because right now it's inside the engine bay and this one won't melt.
