My M45 was polished by them as well. I have a ton of pics if you are interested. They seem really screwy on the pricing. I think they charged bobby like 650 or something. They told me no more than 900 when I called about shipping it to them. When they called me to tell me it was done the price was 1095. I told them I was not happy about that and they agreed to 945. I spose it was worth it the port job seems decent and the exterior polish was top notch. Just make sure you get a straight story from them on price before you ship it to them and then hold them to it. I do not think it is that they are shady or trying to rip anyone off just they do not have their crap together when it comes to pricing.

Honestly I didnt notice a whole ton of difference, except on the lower end. It did get louder and scream like crazy after the port.

Wow you are talking crap about one of the most well known supercharger porters there is. They have been doing this for years. If there is one thing they know I would say it is how to port and rebuild superchargers. So how many years have you been doing this on a daily basis for?

Obvious someone does not know what they are looking at. I am supposed to go visit "Steggie" today as a matter of fact. You may think it looks horrible, but I can guarantee Bob knows exaclty what he is doing..

Matt I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were talking about. Alot of people that don't know jack are quick to open their mouth and critisize. I am no expert on this but I wonder if there might be a performance, driveabilty, reliabilty, or something along those lines reason they did not open it up as much as the one you show.

Do the dyno numbers show the same one they ported and then you reported. As far as I can tell that would be the only way dyno testing would prove a gain from your port job.

Personally a dyno number isnt as big as seeing the CFM difference between a ported and non ported charger, but what do i know....... Also doing the port job incorrectly could cause lots of turbulance and make it flow worse.

very true..also porting it not only frees up air flow but cooler air charge as well as eliminating heat soak on the underside..

I was unable to make it to the shop today due to other commitments, but I will be informing him of this thread. For anyone doubting his work, I would rethink it. Stiegemeier not only does all work in house, but also does not promise gains that are not realistic. Brandon Fetter can be a witness to this also. His head was done by Dyno Bob. I know plenty of people who have used his services/products with great success. At the end of my post is a quote from Stiegemier regarding a previous problem he had with an '03 Cobra that was not putting down the what he claimed it would. Turned out that there was a tuning issue with the bypass valve that created a loss of torque and the HP was not as high as it should have been. The man stands by his work and anybody that has done business with him can back me up on this.

I am very grateful for the business we do for SVT-Performance members. I feel like we are NOT at the end of power gains for Eaton superchargers. I have read posts from competitors that claim we send out some blowers that do not make power. I can personally guarantee my ported blowers to make advertised gains. See our write up of various power gains vs. configuration. But realize that this is only one piece to the puzzle and all else needs to be in order. So if someone has issues with my product, please call and I will help do whatever I can to correct the problem.

Sincerely,
