im blowing black smoke out of the muffler not to sure what its from,,, looked at the pulgs there fine, car has been tuned,, not sure where to go from here...

It's called....running rich.
14.330 @ 96.37mph
Yep...but look on the bright side: rich doesn't blow motors!
But you may want to bring it back to your tuner and look over your numbers again. Do you have a wide-band installed?
I know the history of this car. I sold it to this guy. It is using the GM reflash for the 00-02 2.4 supercharger kit. Also it is using the 310cc injectors and one step colder plugs that come in the supercharger kit and as far as I was told the stock fuel pressure. I have verified that they are infact the 310cc injectors and I put in the one stage colder plugs myself. The fuel pressure I never checked myself. It does have a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator not sure on what brand though. I dynoed the car and the afr was right where it should have been.
Like I told you on the phone I really would not worry about it. If you are worried you can do a dyno pull to find out your afr or buy a wideband O2 sensor. I would assume you know what to look for on the spark plugs since you ride a dirtbike. So if it looked fine to you I would not loose any sleep over it. As said before being on the rich side is far safer than runing lean.

not having a wideband on a boosted car is like banging a chick with no condom, sooner or later there's gonna be an accident

it just gunks up the inside with carbon buildup.
too rich is just as bad as too lean just in different ways.
^, ya if your running ....9:1.
HOWEVER.

too rich is bad in any kind of motor gas burning

I don't think the problem is the turbo being to big. I can say from having driven it that it spools very quickly.

yes it dose spool very quick thanks for answering tho, its not that in worried about it just making sure everything is ok.

Easy guys...
I didn't say running too rich is GOOD for a motor. I said running too rich doesn't BLOW motors. I'd much rather clean some carbon out than replace a blown bottom end.
thats what im saying i dont like black smoke... keep the air clean lol

Who specifically tuned the car? If they tuned it where are the logs? Ive been telling you to buy a wideband since the day you bought it.

Lets try reading the entire thread before posting. It keeps you from looking stupid and me from answering something twice. By the way you are not the only one telling him to buy a wideband. As you can see I have said this as well.

I did read the entire thread, the fact is I already answered the same question you did 2 months ago.

Just because AFR was where it *should have been X amount of months ago doesn't mean it is where it should be now. The "wouldn't worry about it" attitude ends up blowing up a lot of boosted motors, especially ones tuned with an AFPR in the mix.
Is it running rich at idle or is there black smoke from the exhaust when it is in full boost? Just because it is rich at idle doesn't mean it couldn't be leaning out uptop which is why I asked if he had any logs from when it was recently tuned. I recommended he take it to 1 of two performance shops here in town that could dyno tune it since he didn't have a wideband. I don't know if thats what he did or if he had a self proclaimed backyard tuner tell him everything was fizzy puffle without actually knowing what they were talking about.

With out knowing exactly what the AFR is right now throughout the entire rpm range discussing this further is pointless. I do not see the point of the AFPR if it is running the same fuel pressure as stock. If it is set at stock fuel pressure then it is not being used to tune the car with.
