supercharger builds

I'm hoping this doesnt get shot down..

I'm just curious as to what everyone out there with a supercharger has done to there motor. I'm gonna get some forged pistons and rods eventually so I can go to a smaller pulley and was just curious as to what others have been doing with the charger. I myself am referring to the l61 supercharger but of couse all other builds with superchargers would be welcome.

Oh and would anyone have any suggestions on top priority internal parts so I could have a reliable engine when I went to a smaller pulley?

And this might be a stupid question but it just hit me; Is there any difference between the s/c reflash and using hp tuners? I know that you can only go to ?14.7? psi on the supercharger reflash but I was referring to differences in how the boost is expressed?

Once again I'm hoping this doesn't get shot down. I haven't got the charger yet, its in the shipping process, but future ideas are great.

nothing (soon lol)

you'll want forged pistons, rods, and some nice bearings, as basics

Reflash has some wierd fuel issues. Its been documented a few times. Though phlatcav had the best suscess moving to new 38lbs, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and adding in an MSD inline pump to make the fuel pressure stable with a smaller pullies.

philly d are you sure? It's been stated on ecotec forum a couple times that it will go to 14.7 before needing to move to a stand alone the adjust for fuel?

yes the map is 2.5 bar....1 bar =14.7psi.....so 1 bar will get you to 0 and then 1.5 bar is=22.05 psi..

The reflash will read that pressure. Have fun fueling that with the 36lb injectors though.

I'll be running an M62 as high as I can take it on the following:
Completely forged intenals:
-Wiseco 10:1 pistons
-Eagle Rods
-Eagle Crank

-Fully Balanced Engine
-Stage 2 Patriot Head
-Comp Blower Cams
-Fidanza Flywheel
-Stage 2 Clutch
-Phantom Grip LSD (not the $200.00 one)
-Level Zero Balance Shaft Delete Kit.

-60lb injectors
-Upgraded FuelPump

HpTuners for tuning purposes.

Engine goes together this month
Supercharger some time next year when it warms up.

I was going to go all the way with turbo, but after learning of the wonderfull lack of MAPvsFuel tuning on our car I'm going for reliable supercharger power.

in alot of boost post I see everyone saying "the reflash is good for..."

In particular for those turboing their cars. 20 PSI is a completely different ball game between a t25 and a t67. How can you say it is valid for x amount of boost when each turbo blows different amounts of cfms?
