GM Supercharger

Installed my kit and had the dealer do the reflash today. The install went well, very straight forward and with only minor issues. I had to get a longer piece of hose for the PCV and zip tie a coolant hose out of the way or it would have touched the supercharger belt. I have no idea what PSI I have since no gauge yet but it pulls real hard. My buddy has an SRT4 with stage 2, air intake, 3" turbo back exhaust. With him running on level 0 (has toys package) he makes around 7psi we raced from 50mph to 100mph. I got the jump and pulled on him in third, I shifted first giving him time to gain ground and pull a nose ahead of me when we let off just over 100 my bumper was at his drivers door. The only mod I have is the supercharger kit, I still have the AC Delco air filer so I would say its well worth the upgrade. My friend was impressed he didn't think it would be as fast as it is. Next up will be an air intake, exhaust, smaller pulley and a custom tune.

it seems to look like it mount to the throttel body at the end of the charger
i want to use the Iperformance cat-back and header its 2.5 inches wide and it has the option of a resonator

also there is a write up by hahnracecraft about wheel hop and what to do to prevent it

i dont think you can do a custom tune after you have it reflashed at the dealer, ive heard the reflash blocks it from being tuned anymore

This is only true for the ecotec engine reflash. The one for the 2.4 twin cam can be changed.

GM reflash = Check bit missing so HPT can not read the ECU.

so you'd have to buy a new ECU to tune if you wanted to do some custom work
