Alright, I have a 98 cavalier z24 2.4L and currently installing the gm supercharger kit and I think I am missing the brake boost line. If someone could post a pic of their s/c installed w/ a close up of the t/b area that would help. I'm not sure what the new brake booster line looks like, cause i don't see anything close to one. Thanks for any input

If you dont have it no worries. You are seriuosly better off without it. That tube is retardedly difficult to install and remove since it has a metal tab that is is there so you can bolt it to the engine. All you need is as rubber vaccum hose and a 90 degree elbow. You prolly will not be able to find this at a auto part store. You will need to go to a Menards or Home depot and get it from the plumbing section. The vaccum port on the tb and brake booster are the same size. If you need me too I will take mine off and post a pic of it.

Wade Jarvis that would be really sweet if you could post a pic. I stopped for the night, because I was running into more problems with the idler pulley. The bolt that I took off the a/c compressor won't go back in, I figure I will just clean the bolts and the hole they go into on the block tomorrow and hopefully get this vacum tube problem done with. Thanks in advance.
i had issues with a bolt around there too

Hey, off topic but what did you do for the egr block off. I have the block off plate and the simulator but I hear the simulator sucks. I heard of somone using a code deleter everytime they started their car but not looking for a huge hassal.
I can't help you there. I have a 2002 so I had no need for a block off since my engine did not come with one.

I modified the stock brake booster line when I installed my GM SC. I cut the tube about 2 inches ahead of the intake cam, then I clamped a hose to that. Next take the piece of the brake booster line that you just cut off and cut a 2 inch section to be used as union. Slide the rubber elbow that connects to the throttle body into the union and the hose that you connected to the brake booster line. All that is left is to add the hose clamps and you will be fine.

the proto type s/c i got from GM , they just cut the stock tube a couple inches away from the bracket(the the others are complaining about)
and used a hose to run from there to the tb , once you have the intake out its easy to see the tube grab a hacksaw and cut the tube , just make sure and disconect the hose at the other end and blow the metal dust out of the line
its alot easier way to do it
edit* and for the egr block off use the gasket or the part that actually bolts up to the head and trace it on a piece of 1/8" to 1/4" steel plate and cut it out and use a stock gasket to seal it

All I did was went to the auto parts store and bought 3ft of 1/2 inch diameter heater hose. I cut it so it is 28 inches long and thats perfect. I put the clamp that comes on the original rubber hose where it meets the brake booster on the one end of the hose. Next I went to Menards and looked around in the plumbing section where they keep they clear pvc hose and found a 90 degree elbow with half inch diameter on both ends. (It was white until I spray painted it flat black to match the hose.) You insert one end of the elbow into the new rubber line and on the other end you put the 90 degree rubber elbow from your stock brake booster tube where it meets the throttle body. Then connect the rubber 90 to the throttle body and the other end of the hose to the brake booster. Here is a pic.
