Turbocharged using the sc flash, what kind of map sensor are you using? If you are using the actual sc map from the kit, where did you get it and how much was it? I need either the sc map or some sort gm 2 bar for my ld9. Im thinking of maybe using a grand national map since they are cheaper and easier to find, but I would also need to wire in the connector as well with that right?
Thanks
If you are running the GM reflash you must use a 2 bar map sensor. The one from the kit seems the best option to me since there is no wiring just plug and play.

Yea I know it has to be a 2 bar. There are a few different gm cars that the map sensors are useable, but Im trying to find which would ne the easiest to use and find. The newer duramax map's are the same thing as the one in the sk kit, just dont think Id be able to find one.
Mine is from like an late 80's grand national I believe. I got it for like $65.

Yea I saw that msd in an older post on here, but I was wondering do I need a new connector as well or will my stock one? How about the grand national map?
Ive seen gn ones for pretty cheap, was thinking about getting one.
Yes for the MSD you will need to cut an splice the MSD connector sold separately from summit.

Anyone know if an l67(gtp,regal sc,etc) map will fit the ld9 or do I need the connector as well?
Part #12580698 is the 2bar map from a S/C GTP 3800. It's what I've been running for a long time. GMpartsdirect.com list price is $45.81 + s&h ($10.95 or so).

Yea, vincent morris is actualy getting rid of a blown sc regal and that made me realize the map was a 2 bar.
john317(AKA Gary the Old guy), are you using your stock ld9 connector or did you need the l67 map with the connector and wire it in?
Plug and play.
