Alrighty im lookin into getting the hahn stage 2 turbo kit for my 03' cavy and i would perfer to run an in-tank fuel pump. Does anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket pumps or stock pumps from other cars that would work?
I for one am not on enough boost for a demand of a new fuel pump but from what I have witnessed, ppl tend to use the pump from the blazers.
Any specific blazer or just any blazer?
From my years of being on this site and watching what others have done I feel I aftermarket in-line pump (and get rid of the stock in tank pump) might be the best option. Some people have had great luck with a 4.3 blazer pump, others have had fuel cut. Some people have had great luck with the Walbro 255hp pumps and others have had fuel cut issues as well. Some say you need to cut the cup, others say you don't. Still people have had issues doing both ways.

when youre suing an inline pump, its gonna be hard to go w/o the in tank pump since the inline doesnt "suck". its gravity fed. I had an MSD fail and when i talked to them, the guy told me i HAVE TO mount the pump BELOW the tank. I dont know about anyone else, but i could not find a feasable place to put the pump below the tank.
^^^ if you do the walbro 255 in-tank and the inline mounted beside the tank on the rail on the passenger side you should be fine. This is the set-up I have and it works great. The factory in-tank had trouble keeping up with demand of the in-line and burned out on me, but with the walbro in-tank added everything runs fine now. Hope this helps.

I can tell you that is incorrect. MY 96 Z24 has a inline with a stock intank. I can power the inline (which is mounted in the engine bay) and pull fuel from the tank. Still running 2 aftermarket pumps is stupid to me. There has to be a better way. I have seen a 00+ fuel pump push enough fuel for 18psi so only ther extreme need pump upgrades.

I have burnt up 2 walbros before I finally popped the blazer in there.. Been running fine every since... Im also thinking of using the inline as well.

Ok. how much of a pain in the a$$ is it to run an in-line, i saw the guys on Horse Power TV install and in-line pump on a LS1 Camaro when they Procharged it and they used a hollowed out fuel filter to adapt the quick disconnect fitting to an AN fitting and then ran a AN fuel line up to the regulator. I would prefer not to run an in-line, cuz i know there will be less of a chance of fuel leaks. Plz keep this thread civil, i just want some information, so i can make my own decision about what route i want to take.
And one last thing, spell check is a lifesaver, cuz for some reason i cant type for $hit lately
run the hahn set up the way they send it to you with the inline pump. i been through a blazer pump and a walbro pump and they both gave me fuel cut issues. stick with what works.
Ok guys i'm trying to use this thread to decide on a pump. My stock pumps giving me problems. It cuts out and then works fine not all the time but here an there. What brand of in-tank should i go with and where to find them for cheap? Need to fix this problem SOON.
^change your fuel filter lately?
