Front Mount sizing help needed

I need to know what size intercooler will fit into my stock bumper and cover on my 01 z24 WITHOUT cutting anything. I see that alot of people are going with 28x6x2.5. Did anyone have to modify anything to get that to mount inside the stock bumper? i have the grille section cut out on my stock bumper and put mesh in it and it looks really nice and i wanna keep it that way and have the intercooler behind it giving it that extra touch without having to cut.

i have a 28x7.5x2.5 and the actual intercooler itself fits perfect, but i cut out the fog light bezels to make the piping fit.

I'm using a 28X7X2.5, and there was no need for brackets, I just used an existing one...
