I have had me car turbo'd for about a year or so now. I am not wanting to build the engine and go for about 350HP. Here are my plans:
- JBP Lightened and Knife-Edged Crank
- ARP Head and Main Studs
- JBP Stage 2 Cams
- Port and Polished Head With a 3 Angle Vaulve Job
- Weisco 9:1 Pistons
- Eagle Connecting Rods
- Melling Oil Pump
- Cometic Multi Layer Steel Head Gasket
- Methanal Injection
- GT35R
- 58mm or Bigger Throttle Body if I Can
I am leaving some things out of this list, but what does everyone think of this list.

P&P Tuning
420.5whp / 359.8wtq
What do you need to know?
I have a stock 5-speed LD9 with a custom turbo kit. 2.5 Charge Piping, 57 Trim Turbo, Venom Fuel Rail, Venom Intake Manifold, 50 Ilb Injectors, 3 inch Exhaust, 38mm Tail Wastegate, and RFL BOV
JBP might not be a good idea considering their wait time is threw their roof and their parts are not garunteed to work. save your self some money and go to your local machine shops and get prices save your self shipping and headaches. Cams their are some nicer options just look. they are out their. Look into a HO mani from a 2.3 ho and attach a ls1 throttle body on it with an adapter"mind you no one sells these" might give you a little more breathing room. look into opening up the oil passages a little bit might help fro higher rpms.
Thanks man, now with that TB what would I have to do to get it to work? The adapter I know will have to be made, but how about the wiring?
I have talked to a couple people and they said I can keep my stock cams and clean them up. An still be able to hit that 350HP. I don't want to go threw the trouble with the 2.3 cam swap.(I have not luck, something will not work)
Also can I use the stock crank and still hit that HP number?
What size Cometic Head Gasket would you guys recommend?
