This may be a stupid question, so sorry if its simple. My turbo is a .60 on the compressor side, and also is stamped M10. What is the difference between this and one that is .60 M11???
Well what the hell is the difference? Would I be able to swap just the "M11" compressor housing onto mine without any problems? Basicaly Im asking because my turbo has 2 bolt flanges for the compressor inlet/outlet and the other has clamp on.
Rule of thumb, if you want to switch housings, make sure you also switch backing plates.
I tried putting a "clamp on" housing on my "bolt on" turbo, but the backing plates are much different.
I have two SVO turbos, one is a M11, one I believe said M10 (I ground it off a while ago), but both have the same backing plates and look nearly identical, so I'm not sure what the difference is. I tried putting a M24 housing on one of them (clamp on connections), but the backing plate was completely different.
