Hey Guys
I am building my motor for Turbo, i will be running 15-20 PSI, but i was woundering if the JBP Stage 2 Cams Will work with the setup OR against it.
What do you guy think,

Posting grind info would probably be helpful to whoever can answer your question.

Hey
This is the info i got for an other J-Body member, he had all the cams for the 2.4 Twin Cam.
JBP Stage 2
260 degrees @ .050" with .377" lift for the intake,
268 degrees @ .050" with .375" lift for the exhaust,
Thanks
.lots of duration......

Because i already got the JBP Cams for a friend, the cams are Brand New.
So i was wondering if it works with the setup that i am doing.
I would think it has alittle more duration than i would want.
Try it and find out, its a 3-4 hour job swaping out cams.

Thanks for the info Taetsch Z-24
Those duration #'s are not at .050", it wouldn't idle until like 3000 rpm lol. Those look more like advertised duration numbers (.004-.006")

out of personal experience from anyone willing to comment. What are the best cams/cam profiles to run with a turbo? Price is of no concern!
They're fine, anything is better than stock LD9 cams.

Buy cams intended for the RPM range you are looking to run in.

im using W41 cams in my turbo motor.
i'm only looking to rev to 7200 or 7500 with my GT3071R on my 086 head. I would run HO's, but i like my CPS and power steering...so whats the equivilent to the HO intake cam?...since i can still get away with HO exhaust...or even W41 exhaust
There are a few ways to keep both those if you want the HO cams. The MSD cam sync cures the CPS problem and you can have the Hex drive machined into the intake cam.

do they make a turbo grind cam for your car? if they do maybe you could sell those cams you have to buy some turbo grind ones if they have em for the ld9

you dont even have to let it run in SFI mode. let it run like a older LD2\LG0, in batch fire.
