97 cavalier, boost?

im looking to turbo my cavalier plan on using t3/t4 60 trim i was just wondering what would have to be done to run between 6-10 psi of boost? would i need to replace the injectors and the fuel pump? does installing the turbo require rerouting the dipstick tube or any of the coolant hoses? i plan on using an intercooler and getting something along the line of AMS for tuning purposes. any information would be helpful just trying to figure it all out before i start tearing it down.

Stay at 8psi and your injectors/fuel pump will do. You will have to move your dipstick but not the coolant hoses. There is an oil connection on the back of the engine (for pressure sensor) that you can T off of.

You can just weld an elbow in you dipstick so that it does not go straight up, or you can just bend it. For an oil feed line to the turbo, I would go with a oil filter sandwitch adpater which you can pick up on ebay for like 30 bucks. And you can also run your oild pressure gauge and oil temp gauge off of the adapter as well. For your oil return line from your turbo, just drill a hole in your dipstick, tap it, and put the line there. If I were you I would go with at least 35#/lb injectors, and a walbro 255 fuel pump. however your stock fuel pump will probably be just fine. Just go with bigger injectors so that you won't run lean. Also I would get a wide band O2 sensor so that you know your a/f ratio. with out it you won't know until its to late if you are running lean.

If life starts to pass you by, Downshift!
