Well my local store stopped selling the yellow HEET and they said they don't carry the yellow HEET now just only the red HEET which is the same thing just with anti-gas line freezing added in. Can you use this still for meth injection?
yeah, its just a little bit more stout. But if your more comfortable running the yellow you should be able to still purchase it at walmart or a gas station, the red is for winter months mainly.

since heet IS gas line anti freeze... what do they think was added? we sell both at work, and yes, the red is just a little stronger.

never heard of using the red bottled stuff.
I am sure if you shop around you can find the yellow bottle stuff.
you try walmart? some auto parts store? i once seen it at menards.

well i did some searching and found some WRX and SRT4 guys are running the red bottle and say its got alot of alky in it rather than meth. I tried 2 bottles and the car runs decent with it just REALLY rich, put regular 100% meth in it and she runs 1 point leaner (11.2 WOT with ISO and 12.2 with yellow HEET)

There is a big difference in between the two. The yellow uses methanol and the red bottle uses isoprol alcohol. You want the yellow bottle. The red is basically just rubbing alcohol.

As mentioned don't use the red it's not methanol. The yellow actually is like 98% meth... however you're not running the yellow stuff at 100% concentrate are you? You need some water mixed in or the meth is going to evaporate too quickly.
