I am thinking about putting a 2.7" pulley on my m45 supercharger for the LD9 and am thinking about upgrading my injectors while I am at it. I am wondering what kind of injectors people are upgrading to and is there a reflash that needs to be done when putting in larger injectors and if so, does GM offer this reflash for this s/c kit. Any help would be awsome.
There is no upgrade for the 2.4 reflash. You dont need to change your injectors when you use a 2.7" pulley. I used the S/C injectors with a 2.4" pulley. STill had decent A:F numbers.

Nice.. You have a ticking time bomb... Mine were maxed out on the stock pulley.. 124# duty cycle at 5800 rpm.. To the OP, I would advise on getting bigger injectors, meth and a good tune...

Funny how it held up for 16K miles before i pulled off the S/C. Never went over about a 12.5:1 A:F. Noting ticking time bomb about it. I know a guy who was running a turbo setup making close to 300 WHP on 320 injectors. I was only pushing 226 and that was at revlimit. This was all done on a the GMPP reflash. You dont need big injectors like everyone likes to claim, especialy with only droping to a 2.7" pulley.

I guess what I tell all my customers is wrong.. Maybe I should look into a new profession...
If you feel that running around 12.5 AFR is safe you can keep on keeping on... No one said that he needed to throw huge injectors into it,. All that was said is upgrading would be wise (larger than the SC kit injectors) ...

yea with my stock pulley on my m62 I'm maxxing my injectors out. Upgrading injectors is always a good mod for boost.
And your reasoning for needing the bigger injectors would be?? I had no issues with that build until I swaped over to a turbo and i did change the injectors when i did that as I was moving a lot more air than the S/C did. To bad i had a bad injector in that bunch.

And I bet if you had logged your injector duty cycle it would have been sky high... Just because your AFR was "ok" (which 12.5 is too high if you ask me) , it does not mean that the injectors are going to last and that you are running safe....

exactly my hpt shows that I am maxing my injectors out which is why I need bigger injectors with the stock pulley....
now you side with bigger injectors.. lol
Injectors lasted just fine for 16K and in sure my duty cycle wasnt sky high. I feel 12.5:1 was just fine on my engine. It had no abnormal things about the way it ran. Never gave me any trouble and never showed any signs of problems. After 16K the the internals (other than those damaged by a different circumstance than the S/C build) looked just fine. No abnormal signs of wear or damage. Never knocked, never ran lean, never let me down. I would gladly do that same build again.
What would people suggest for bigger injectors (brand and flow rating) if I did decide to get a smaller pulley for my M45...are the injectors that come with the LD9 s/c kit 320cc??
