im going to buy a supercharger kit for my 2.4L cavalier in the near future. im lookin at both the GM m45 supercharger kit and the vortech supercharger kit and cant decide. what is so much better about the vortech that makes it so much more expensive. and is it worth the money? i know vortech claims that their supercharger kit wil make 60 more horsepower at only 6psi, or so they say. give me some thoughts on this.
thanks,

M45
forget the vortec exists. the kit for the 2.4 and the eco sucks
well thats good to hear for me, saves me a but load of money. and considering into account of the price drop that GM made on the M45 kit.

m45 kit > RSM Vortec craptacular kit
My Cav
I give up...
i'm buying a VW those people love trees, so they should love eachother too... "Andy"
lol im guessing there is no love for the vortech kit, just makes my decision more clear. plus i bet installation is alot more easier with the M45 then the vortech since it was made by GM.

the vortech spins off the intake cam, and so does the power steering pump. After awhile it causes oil to leak from the extra strain on the cam. The M45 is the way to go, feeds off the crank, and has no nasty side effects.
