What extra parts would I need for doing this? I know the stock belt won't fit and I will have to cut a rib off of it or get another belt.
gm sells the actual belt, search the forum and you will find the part # i don't remember it off the top of my head.
yeap........there are SEVERal posts on this page, refering to what all is needed.
just have to look
swapped, supercharged, intercooled, 2.9, fun
If I can remember right the 2.2 has more ribs on the belt than the 2.0 does? I will have all the parts from a Cobalt but just wasn't sure besides the adaptor plate if there was anything else needed.
do yourself a favor and just chuck up 2800$ and buy it..you will be better off..

check out the guys who've done swaps into 2.2 and 2.4 eco's. you're gonna have to improvise with some parts, mostly the fasteners, hoses and belt. and you're gonna need hpt to tune, but its pretty much a direct swap of the manifold and MP62. if you can source all the parts, you'll come in WAY under 2800. actually you should be able to have a functioning supercharger and associated hardware, a wideband, injectors and HPT for under 2800
then you can write it up here and go down in history!
Is there any other way to tune the car without Hp I will have all the parts off a Cobalt the guy I am geting it off of is going to turbo his Cobalt so he is selling me everything off his. Won't the Cobalt stock injectors work?

Yes the cobalt injectors will work, but with our stock ECM, you will run rich at idle and off boost and probably go stoich at WOT. If your really trying to do this on the cheap, contact one of the guys in
THIS thread, and try to find someone locally to flash one of their tunes to your ECM, and it will be a better start than stock. Certainly will not be perfect though.
can you swap on the supercharger and the tune with the gm reflash how much is it?
