Adjusting boost on a Internal WG

Anybody have a in-depth look on how to adjust the boost on a Internal WG?

If I missed this post or sticky, please school me.

diffrent spring. normally you adjust via blow off valve not realy waste gate.

Depending what setup you have you can twist out the actuator arm on the wastegate..or if you want you can always get a boost controller and put that inline and that will increase your boost..

Boost controller is best option. BOV has nothing to do with the wastegate. The BOV just releases the pressure in the charge pipes when you close the buterfly (throttle). It should not be your boost control.

They sell cheap boost controlles that bleed off so much air so that it takes more pressure to reach the wastegate. You just run it inline with the line that goes to the wastegate.

At least im pretty sure it works the same on internal wastegates.

^^yes you are correct...thats the way to do it other then lenthening or shortening the actuator rod..which isnt always an option...mbc cheap and effective...but tends to cause boost spikes at times...
