Hi - I have an 84 1.8 Turbo Sunbird with the stock T2 that is putting out about 10lbs of boost. Is it worth it for me to pull it out to swap in a T25 from an 89 Sunbird? I got the turbo and iron manifold at a local u pick it. I will be going back for the cooling lines and airbox if I decide to keep it.

What gains could I expect?

Or should I just sell the T25?

Please Advise.

You could just make the stock one put out more boost to make more power.

You might see a small gain in power (5-8 hp or so), but not a massive gain. Even the small T25 is too small for that motor (IMHO).
