what is a good spark gap for a 7-8lb boosted OHV 2.2 liter? thanks
Stock is .40 i think. At least, that is what all data says... lol
I would gap your plugs to slightly larger. Maybe .50 to .60. Mine are at .50.
A larger gap makes the coils output more power to the plugs to force it across the gap. The more power, the more powerful the spark. So you gain advantage for a larger air gap (more moelcules can be hit in the path) and a hotter spark.

I would gap it smaller than that...
I am running more boost than you, but I am running at .28-.30 on NGK TR-6's
im on ngk ltr7ix-33 and im gapped at 32 on 9psi. if you go bigger you risk spark blowout. id recommend lower than stock for damn sure.
^^^vincent, you are eco correct?
so the ohv would need a different plug no. than you gave....but the gapping advice stays the same.
Also wondering if anyone has the resistance values of the IAT sensor or whatever I know that if put me a resistor in there of the correct value I wil stay in "warm up mode" I just want the resistance for the lowest temp able to be read i think its 32 degrees but anyway thanks(for 2.2 ohv sorry i didn t specify)
It's not resistance values but rather voltage you should see, but hopefully
this will help.
