Ok this been pondering in my head for a while and no one has asked the question yet, so what happens for example my car is a 99 grand am and i swaped the ecu to a 00 then i had the car flashed with the gm reflash for the supercharger, my base pressure for the 99 was 43psi and 00 and up was for what everybody says around 50- 55psi at idle, so my question is when you flash the ecu with the gm reflash does it also change the stock pressure to 50 from 43?

The reflash will not change you fuel pressure.

Thank you, i was wondering about that for a while, so its just a diferent fuel regulator for the 00 then.

there is no electronic fuel pressure, its all mechanical. in this case, the mechanical component would be the regulator. so unless you change that out, it shouldnt change.

the fuel pressure regs have different ratings , my 97 had a base of 42-43 , and my 00 was 50
ive got a caspers adjustable fpr , on a fuel rail that has been drilled and tapped for a pressure fitting so you can read the actual fuel pressure , 2.4's do not have the port stock , that ill sell for 110.00 shipped
no i dont need all of that i already have a adjustable regulator and gauge also, i was wondering about the fuel pressure on the 99 2.4 and the 00 2.4L if the flash afected the pressure at all, but i guess i wasnt thinking straight for a bit cause i knew the answer but i realized that the 99 low inpedence fuel set up is 43 and 00 high impedence are 50.
