I hit it, and climbing, fast.
On my way to a car show over the weekend, my cat decided to finally die (183,500 miles) and restrict my exhaust majorly. I hit boost almost instantly even just feathering the throttle and the car bogged down. I cruised around 0-2 boost/vac the rest of the way to the show until I diagnosed it with a bunch of fellow Alero guys. Replaced the cat, runs awesome.
Just thought it was pretty intense to see the boost go 11... 13... 15 extremely quickly, I let off ASAP, scared the @!#$ out of me.

Boost spike FTW...lol. Glad nothing got damaged or anything. What kind of cat you put in?
Just a universal 2.5" in/out so when I do the full exhaust soon (in 2.5") I'll be all set. I'm pretty sure the stock cat vs. high flow vs. no cat proved excruciatingly minimal differences, so I figured I'd just throw on a regular one so as not to piss off California.
