Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think you need to delete your egr.

The only thing I can help you with is buying a wideband. If the you like AEM Uego it is most likely the cheapest on ebay at $228.00 shipped. That is where I bought mine.

you shouldnt need an upgraded full pump. stock does pretty well against even more odds then the puny m45 could ever need fuel for.

I actually have an EGR blockoff plate if you do need it. I gotta dig it up though, I'll let you get it for whatever postage would be

you dont need the FMU....use HPT
you dont need the fuel pump.....but if you feel you must....do a search here about the racetronics fuel pump
Re: my GM supercharger setup

I would get the FMU and use HPT together. You do not need a block off plate for the EGR, just get a exhaust manifold gasket for a 99+ 2.4 (it blocks that port), then you will get a code for EGR, but HPT can take care of that.

Also as others have said you really do not need a upgraded fuel pump. If you really want to, then do a search on this site for Walbro and you will find many post about people running them and lots have had issues. You will also find a post or 2 about racetronix fuel pump which seems to be a btter option for us.

well so far i got the 370 injectors and i just ordered the FPR and i got the 2000-2002 starter already in....the only bad thing about HPT is that its expensive as hell to get tuned. Thats why i was gonna get the FMU

Couldnt you just have used the injectors from the kit and use the extra money for HP Tuners?

the injectors that come with the kit are to skinny, they will only work for 2000-2002 cavs, so i needed fat ones (low impedance)

DSM injectors, and a FPR.

keep your fuel pump. it is not needed.

get water injection.

get HPT

using an fmu on a m45 or a m62 is like using an fmu on a n/a vehicle.....not necessary

Alpha N is ideal for a s/c set up since the car builds power and boost so consistently.... don't waste your money

if your looking for tuning, contact a friend of mine. he's good at what he does. he can street tune your car for you, will save you from buying HPT and a wideband O2 (unless you want the WBO2 for monitoring).

he uses HPT and is located in the Barrie area, but is in Newmarket frequently. he also has his own WBO2, hence why i said it will save you money.

his name is Shane Hewitt, he's on the boards here. email is innovativetuning@rogers.com

he will probably see this post anyways but email him too, best way to contact him.

That is not totally true. Even on a M45 boost can change with the weather. We have seen a stock M45 put out between 5.5 psi and 7psi on based on the weather. This changes the tune a lot. If you tune it on the 7 psi then when it is warm and running 5.5psi the car is a dog and bogging. Tune it for 5.5 psi and then get cooler and see 7psi car is lean.

My car sees different boost levels in the warm and cold season as do most boosted vehicles, and doesn't "dog" as you say.

Also he has it even easier I didnt even realize for a second that he has an ld9 then by all means speed density it is, but regardless an fmu is useless on a supercharged vehicle. I highly doubt he would be dogging out from that small of a boost flucuation....
