Hey just a few quick questions:
Does anyone have a list of tools that are needed for the install? Like what size wrenchs and sockets ill need?
There is a bolt in 29 in the manual that needs to be ground down but I dont know why? Can anyone explain?

hmm metric socket set, regular and deep well, metric gear wrenches, hammer (there always seems to be something you need one for), metric allen wrenches
pretty much everything in the car is 7,8,10,13,15mm as far as bolts

what did you use? I used a dremel and since our head is aluminum, it was done in about 2 mins lol
Very sharp knife to cut the intake manifold gasket.
Magnet for dropped sockets and bolts in hard to reach places.
Copious amounts of beer.
Prybar to install belt.
These are just a few that come to mind, based on previous experiences.

Well Im about half way done. I used a DeWalt cordless drill and a 50grit sanding barrel with a 1/4 inch shank on it to trim the head. Then I cleaned it up with a file. No drama there.
Worked on it about 4 hours yesterday.
So far so good, if I get in a jam today Ill post here.
Thanks again for the advice.

I started the head with a dremel but didn't have a tip long enough to cut it off...so I grabbed a hack saw to finish the job!
LOL!!
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
LOL! Sweet picture!
I put in a few more hours today, still chipping away....
I ran into another issue today, the manifold/heatexchanger above one of the studs didnt clear the top "lip" that juts out above where the gasket sits. I actually had to grind some of the top of the manifold off to make it fit
oh well it was like 1mm- not impressed with the fit and finnish though.
Gonna keep going tomorrow.

ya had to do that to mine in a couple of spots on the manifold. thought was strange as well.

i didnt have to grind any part of the manifold, something must be in the way. make sure to turn the starter wire 90 degrees so it sits in there correct, also dont forget the bottom bolt on the manifold; i never put mine in lol..
yea you need various metric sockets and wrenches, inch pound torque wrench, and a 6mm allen socket for the bolts that hold the blower onto the manifold. other than that i dont think any special tools were needed..
hope that helps..

Hey does anyone have any pictures of where all the vacuum lines are routed to? Im a little lost on some of them. Is there a line running from the coolant reservoir to somewhere?

Ok forget that question,
I mean the vacuum line on the resevoir on the supercharger.
I know where the top one goes but what about the bottom one?

talking about the ones on the black can bypass valve thing right? if so the bottom one should just be to relive pressure. the instructions say the kit comes with a 90degree elbow for that one but mine didnt have it so its just nothing hooked up to the bottom one.

one line goes to the power steering, and if you have a manual, the one near the bottom of the bypass valve is just open.. i think you hook it up to the transmission if you have an automatic. of course the vacuum line from the manifold goes to the fuel rail
