Fuel pressure reg thoughts

ok so i have a boosted 2200. I installed a after-market boost controlled fuel pressure reg. This is an add on so the original is still in place. Now in theory the factory one uses the vacuum from the manifold of a stock car to build more pressure to squeeze more fuel though the injectors, so if this new found boost in the manifold is attacked to the same reg then wouldnt the pressure have an adverse effect on the fuel pressure and restrict the pressure? My main question is should I plug the factory port and just run the after-market, should I get a one way valve, or keep both with the boosted line? And ADVICE would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

lol you boosted your car and you dont know how a AFPR works!
Do you have bigger injectors or a bigger fuel pump?

I wasn't asking how it works but thanks for the ADVICE. Yes I have larger injectors.

You would need to bypass the factory FPR, otherwise you will be regulating already regulated pressure....

Technically unplugging the factory one will override it, but there is still some restriction there. you can take it apart and hollow it out, ot get one of these from the GP I am running.

Then problem solved.
