So last night I met some people that were parked at the mall with their hoods up. I went over to check out there rides, and this 1985 Firebird caught my eye with a front mount intercooler. I asked him what type of system he was running, and he told me an STS universal turbo system. I looked for the turbos mounted on the headers and all I saw were SLP full length headers. He started to laugh when I asked him where the turbo was, and told me to look under the car. Sure as $*** there was a nice Garrett GT35 mounted under the car. I didn't have my phone or camera but what a clean set up! Has anybody tried or thought about doing this on a J? He uses a scavenege oil pump to drainoil away from the turbo and back into the pan. Im tempted to seeing how much additional lag it produces, if it's not miuch then we might have a simple an in exspensive turbo system. Just thought i would share my experience with you guys
