Does some body knows how many cc´s for injectors are recommended for 7 or 8 lbs boost in a ld9 engine?
also how many cc´s are the stock injectors?
and where y can get the bigger injectors?
some RC engineering 550cc injectors would go nice with that setup if your looking for new.
550 would be overkill. I ran 370 with 10 PSI from a T3/T04E and was just creeping into the mid to upper 11's.
I buy em big as to reduce the required upgrades in the future when a major change in fuel requirement is added. I'm running 1000cc on my stock motor....no problems even at idle. Obviously i bought those for my new motor but I wont have to worry about anything i throw at em....they will be good to go.
Hey Josh what brand are you running and are they high or low impedence, as I need a set for my turbo buildup and was thinking about RC 750's.
Buying too big is not a good idea. I bought 60# injectors when I needed 45# and I couldn't make them idle right for @!#$. Took a TON of adjusting to get them to idle at all. Buy the size you need and upgrade if/when you get to that point.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Hypsy, my only thoughts of why you had a rough idle is because you were tuning an eco. I'm not putting eco's down, you guys are just a little more *limited* in fine tuning the SC reflash, am i correct?
whereas the LD9 reflash is more forgiving and flexable. Meaning big injectors at idle = easier to work with.
Shoot me down if i'm wrong lol, but it sounds like an answer....right?
I don't use the SC reflash. You can't tune that one at all.

Well I have HPT to tune with until Shifted has his standalone ready for sale.
I got 1000cc's to idle absolutely fine but I tune with megasquirt.....I said peace out to all that factory crap
question... does the 96 ld9 cavs are low or high impedance ?. i think i read im low imp. i have bought 450 cc's from an evo .. that are low imp. that will work right ..
thanks
